Later, the songwriter—who was recently rumored to have been dating Drake—was seen with Rob Peace co-stars Jay Will and Chiwetel Ejiofor at the IndieWire Sundance Studio.
At the festival, Cabello wore a chic charcoal top that looked like a suit jacket with sleeves covered in fur.
The singer from Havana wore a matching maxi skirt with several buttons across the front of it to go with her top.
The Latin Grammy-winning artist accessorized with a single necklace and finished her ensemble with a pair of beige high-heeled shoes.
Her thick brunette hair hung down over her shoulders and chest, looking great against the black color of her dress.
Promoting the upcoming film Rob Peace, which is based on Jeff Hobbs’ biography The Short and Tragic Life of Robert Peace, Cabello went to Sundance.
The film is around a young Black man who left his dysfunctional family to attend Yale University, only to be killed in a basement outside of his Newark, New Jersey, birthplace a short time later.
Will plays the title character, and Ejiofor plays his father, who was a prisoner when he was a boy.
The star of 12 Years a Slave not only starred in the feature film but also co-wrote and directed it.
The film’s producers are Antoine Fuqua and Mary J. Blige, with Michael Kelly and other performers completing the ensemble.
According to Deadline, Cabello agreed to play Peace’s part-time lover in February of last year.
