Gomez flaunts her innate beauty in pictures without makeup

Selena Gomez defied expectations with her makeup-free looks in a new set of Instagram photos.

The 31-year-old, two-time Grammy nominee, looked at ease in the photos taken outside as she wore a grey-and-white tweed blazer and smiled at the camera.

Her boyfriend Benny Blanco left three heart-shaped emoji comments underneath the photo, which garnered over 5.5 million likes on Instagram in only 12 hours.

The Single Soon hitmaker, who has dated Justin Bieber and The Weeknd in the past, disclosed on social media in December that she has been discreetly dating him for six months and that he is “better than anyone” she has ever dated.

Gomez announced to her fans earlier this week that she has come to terms with the fact that her body will “never look” the same as it did when she was in her early 20s.

The Only Murders in the Building actress posted on her Instagram Story, saying, “I’m not perfect but I am proud to be who I am… sometimes I forget it’s ok to be me.”

Selena has previously expressed messages of body positivity on several occasions.

In February of last year, she addressed body shamers and disclosed that the reason behind her weight increase was her lupus medicine.

Gomez responded to internet trolls who made disparaging remarks about her appearance at the time by declaring that she would “never be a model.”

The Spring Breakers actress urged her fans to exercise self-love even when they feel ashamed, and disclosed that she will “hold a lot of water weight” as a result of multiple prescriptions.

‘When I’m off of it, I tend to kind of lose weight,’ stated the Lose You to Love Me singer, who has previously been outspoken about her diagnosis of autoimmune disease and her experience with mental health issues.

The former Disney star said she is still proud of her present physique and that the small side effect is insignificant compared to her health: “I think my medications are what help me, and they are important.”
