Maya Jama reveals a secret tattoo on an iոtimate part of her body
Maya Jama, host of Love Island Games, revealed a matching tattoo she got done in secret with two of her close friends.
The 29-year-old beauty showed off her new tattoo to her three million followers, featuring a tiny smiley face with a tongue protruding on her wrist.
She posted an Instagram story with the caption “for lifeeee gang,” along with three emojis that resemble tattoos, tagging two close friends who had matching tattoos in the same location.
Fans hardly ever get to see Maya’s tiny tattoo on her back. Her childhood sweetheart, who was tragically shot and killed in an attack when she was only sixteen years old, is honored in the ink.
When Rico Gordon was just 21 years old, he was caught in the crossfire of a deadly gunfight between two rival thugs in London while he was on the phone with Maya.
According to what he remembered, Maya had her previous boyfriend’s initials permanently inked on her body, with the cursive “RG” located on the side of her back, just under her ribs.
”That’s the worst thing that’s ever happened to me,” Maya remarked, referring to the tragic death of Rico in 2011. It was surreal—the kind of thing you only see in movies.
“The encounter greatly inspired me to advance in my work. I simply continued because, at the time, my work was the only thing that brought me happiness.”
