The student made a comfortable place for the stray dogs to live in
Thailand is a beautiful country and has tasty food, amazing culture and also many wandering dogs. The problem is actual also in different countries. A lot of dogs are wandering in the streets and on the roads in order to be able to live. Especially in Thailand, because of Buddhism, as people are appreciated when they feed wandering creatures.
And the neuter of the animals is rather expensive there that is why you may found many pets and their quantity is raising day by day. And it is also hard to find refuge for them. One day a kind boy Ajarn who was a student determined to make the life at least somewhat comfortable for wandering pets. He started a project to changed old billboard into refuges for animals.
The idea came up during his doctoral project and it was rather successful. The student started to cooperate with an organization who would help him with the realization of the program. About 20 refuges were created due to the program. On social media there were posts about new shelters and their residents. The animals can be covered during wet weather for example. You can meet this kind of places in different parts of the town.
