A baby hippo cries out for help after a flock of birds tried to hitch a ride on its back

There was a photographer named Marc Moi, during his travel in South Luangwa he took some photos of a baby hippopotamus panicking because of a swarm of birds that were on his back.

At that time he was concentrated on a group of hippotamus when he saw the frightened baby. He didn’t let that scene just come and go and immadiately made some shots. Usually, woodpeckers land on their back to eating ticks and parasites from the animal’s body.

The hippos get free care and service although in this case seems like the baby didn’t appreciate their effort.

Photographer said that it was fun watching the baby screaming and running to his mother because of the birds.
