Judge Amanda Holden of Britain’s Got Talent was overcome with emotion as she marked her oldest daughter’s 18th birthday.

She expressed her shock at becoming a mother to an eighteen-year-old in a heartfelt video that she posted on Instagram, complete with images of Lexi Hughes from her early years to the present.

“Well..the time has literally slipped by and our beautiful is 18 today,” the TV personality wrote. We simply find it hard to believe.”

Then she said, “Darling. We are incredibly proud of the wise, tender, witty, observant, and devoted woman you have become.

We adore you so much and are here for you. We are so excited to celebrate tonight with our family and friends!”

Many birthday greetings for her daughter Lexi were sent to Amanda by her friends and admirers.

TV personality Lizzie Cundy wished “Happiest of birthdays beautiful girl Lexi” in the comments section, along with a heart-shaped love heart. Stacey Dooley, the winner of Strictly Come Dancing, referred to Lexi as a “Stunnah.”

Since 2008, Amanda and her husband Chris Hughes—who also made an appearance in the birthday video—have been a solid marriage.

The Heart FM radio host has already discussed her parenting style, claiming to maintain the same level of composure as her father.

She stated on a podcast: “It had a significant influence on me as he never raised his voice or yelled, which is something I have never done.

Perhaps I once shouted out to warn people not to leap into pools without thinking first—something along those lines.”

“Every time, Chris remarks, ‘I can’t wait to see you lose your rag one day.'” “I want to be there for the day when you lose your rag,” he remarks.

Additionally, he constantly warns the daughters not to push their mother too hard because she will eventually break, but I haven’t discovered it yet.”

Amanda sent a wonderful shout-out to Chris in an anniversary online dedication last month.
