Dua Lipa sparkles in a tiny silver metallic dress and black leather knee-high boots
At the Barbie screenplay publishing party in Los Angeles on Saturday night, Dua Lipa stole the show. This was her first public appearance since her breakup with boyfriend Romain Gavras.
The 26-year-old Houdini hitmaker looked every bit the pop princess at the party hosted by the publishing house Faber & Faber. The event celebrated the release of the movie script written by Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach.
Wearing sheer stockings and black leather knee-high boots, Dua looked stunning at the celebrity-filled event.
The Grammy winner went almost makeup-free, enhancing her naturally gorgeous appearance with just a hint of red lipstick. Her new auburn hair took center stage.
The Barbie stars Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling were among the A-list celebrities who attended the party, which was held at the Pendry in West Hollywood.
The screenplay will be available in print for the first time with an exclusive introduction by Baumbach and Gerwig.
There will be eight pages of movie stills in the paperback.
The singer of Cold Heart has been hard at work creating the follow-up to 2020’s Future Nostalgia.
In an interview with Variety last fall, she made some insinuations about the concept and tone of her next album.
The album has a different sound and a stronger lyrical theme, even though it’s still pop music. Everything would make sense if I told you the title, but for now, we’ll just have to wait.
She also gushed about the response to her most recent single, “Houdini,” which was released.
To be honest, I was taken aback by how quickly and intensely everyone reacted. It’s incredible. It is undoubtedly the greatest response I have ever received for anything I have ever done.
“I’m simply very content and eager to begin this new chapter.”
