The Vietnam War veteran, before dying in the hospice wished to see his beloved pet and say goodbye

A Vietnam War veteran with the name of John Vincent is already ninety-six years old.

He was not married and his only friend was his dog Patch.

When the old man had to move to the hospice, no one could take care of Patch, so he moved to an animal shelter. But soon, the caretakers learned that his owner had little time left to live. The last wish of the man was to see and hug his beloved dog for the last time.

They immediately agreed and did everything for that meeting to take place. They had such an amazing and gentle dialog. Everyone was crying seeing these two reuniting.

It was their touching goodbye to each other.
